Description
Stunning and unique penthouse apartment located on the top two floors of a historic medieval tower situated between Piazza Venezia and the magnificent ruins of the ancient Roman Forum.
The Tower was built over 700 years ago in 1223 by the architect Marchino d'Arezzo for the Carboni Family. It is believed the Tower was one of several surrounding the inner sanctum of Rome and was used for the purpose of defence and signalling in times of conflict. At a date unrecorded the Tower passed from the Carbonis to the Covetti Family and then in the 1600's was acquired by the del Grillo family, after whom the Tower and surrounding piazza have been named ever since.
Entrance leads directly into the living room.
Living Room
The living room is comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with two long sofas, side tables and a leather designer armchair. One floor to celing window overlooking the magnificent terrace and breathtaking views of Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum.
Dining Room
The dining room is a very large room accessed from the living room. Glass walls on two sides give fabulous views. Furnished with a long dining table and chairs to seat 12 people. A breakfast bar at one end separates the kitchen.

From living room stairs lead to an upper level study.

At the lower level is 50sqm terrace that is accessed from the living room and the lower level bedroom. The terrace is furnished for outdoor dining and provides 180 degree views of the surrounding area including the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, the Coliseum, Trajan's Market and various other famous Roman landmarks.
